The Brecon Carreg Cardiff Bay 10k race is being held on Sunday 29th March 2020. This popular spring-time race attracts some of the UK’s top athletes, but is a flat, fast and friendly event for all ages and abilities. The route takes in all of Cardiff Bay’s most iconic landmarks including the Wales Millennium Centre, Mermaid Quay, Pierhead Building, Senedd, Porth Teigr and the Cardiff Bay Barrage.
Due to the size of the event, along with the route, Cardiff Open-Top Tours will be operating a diversion whilst the race in underway. We will be unable to serve the following stops:
1) Norwegian Church
2) Wales Millennium Centre
3) Mermaid Quay
Passengers wishing to alight at Cardiff Bay will be able to do so at a temporary bus stop in Bute Street. Roads are expected to reopen by 13:30 hrs at which point normal service/ route will resume.
